My Top Ten Favorite Goverment Agency Feminist Characters

Here is a list of my top ten favorite feminist characters that are either currently or formerly part of the CIA, FBI, and/or some sort of top secret government agency:

  1. Sameen Shaw (Person of Interest) was part of ISA, which is a secret government program run by the “Machine”.
  2. Jennifer Jareau (Criminal Minds) who works at the FBI with the BAU.
  3. Sydney Bristow (Alias) works a spy at the CIA.
  4. Elizabeth McCord (Madam Secretary) was a CIA analyst before she became Secretary of State.
  5. Teresa Lisbon (The Mentalist) left her career at the CBI (California Bureau of Investigation) to join the national FBI.
  6. Kate Harper (The West Wing) was a CIA operative stationed all over the world including  near and around Cuba before she entered the world of the White House.
  7. Dana Scully (The X Files) has just recently re-joined the FBI and “The X Files” after years away being a doctor.
  8. Olivia Dunham (Fringe) works in the Fringe Division of the FBI, which most of the public and the agency itself doesn’t know about.
  9. Daisy Johnson (Marvel Agent of Shield) has just left S.H.I.E.L.D. a US government agency that protects the human race from alien artifacts and other “beyond human imagination” events. 
  10. Alex Danvers (Supergirl) works as a bio-engineer and agent at the D.E.O. where she and her little sister Supergirl (Kara Danvers) protect Earth from aliens.
